The Resort Features Team Building Meeting Packages That Also Benefit a Good Cause

Young Harris, GA — Brasstown Valley Resort & Spa offers Team Building Meeting Packages that not only help create team spirit and enhance working relationships but also benefit a worthy cause. A favorite Team Building program featured by the North Georgia Mountain Resort is its Build a Bicycle program. Recently enjoyed by meeting attendees from The Center for Disease Control & Prevention, the group worked together to build bicycles for children in need.

The Build a Bicycle Team Building program sets up teams within the company’s participants and places them in a contest to build a new bike. Tools for building are available for ‘purchase’ through a system of tokens that are earned by team members for excelling in sales, meeting participation, answering questions during seminars, barter between teams, and any other parameters set by the specific meeting organizer. The winning team is decided by a combination of a winning time minus deductions for things such as loose screws, unfinished work and poor workmanship. The bikes are purchased in advance for the meeting planners by Brasstown Valley Resort and are at the Resort upon the attendees’ arrival. Brasstown Valley Resort then goes through all the completed bikes to make sure they are accurately assembled and works with the company to donate the bikes to one of many organizations that benefit America’s youth.
