Nebel Editor, Men's Traveler Chef Donnie Ferneau is probably one of the most honest chefs one can come across. At a recent event that included a group of visiting journalists, Chef Donnie displayed his "no BS attitude" with stories of conflict and success. As we were treated to plates of scrumptious samplers (picture below), Chef Donnie entertained us scribes and PR folk with behind-the-scenes stories and colorful language. Little Rock, Arkansas indeed has come a long, long way with their culinary scene and Ferneau is evidence that Little Rock food rocks. Chef Donnie is an ambitious young man with a bright future. Chef Donnie features fresh Grilled Salmon, Zinfandel Slow-Roasted Ribs, Sake Grilled Tuna and much more. Ferneau impressed the group of journalists so much, one of them asked, "Are you dating? I have a daughter..." "I'm engaged," Ferneau quickly responded. Nevertheless, if you find yourself in Little Rock with your wife or significant other, this is the perfect evening out.
