The Marmara Antalya -- the world's first and only revolving hotel -- offers the best view in the house from every room in its revolving building. Perched on the majestic Falez Cliffs in Turkey 's southern coast, every room of the resort's 24-room revolving loft offers ever-changing 360-degree panoramic views of the turquoise-blue Mediterranean, the Antalyan coastline and the snow-capped Taurus Mountains.
The revolving loft was designed using shipbuilding specifications. It sits atop a special pool system where water drives the mechanisms that are set to turn the building 360-degrees every seven hours-- although it is capable of completing a revolution every three hours. The innovative design earned The Marmara Antalya a "Best Hotel Architecture" nomination from the prestigious Prix Villegiature Awards, which honor the best hotels in Europe.
The 24 guestrooms in the revolving loft have expansive windows, glass doors between the bathroom and bedroom and even bathtubs in the room--all to take full advantage of the magnificent views. The spacious rooms were designed to evoke a sense of comfortable luxury that one would find in a grand yet unpretentious beach home. Featuring the contemporary style of French designer Christian Allart, the color palette and natural fabrics used create a whimsical, casual elegance that blends beautifully with the seaside setting and allows the breathtaking views to be the focal point.
A second 15-story building with 208 guestrooms continues the same elegant and contemporary décor with stationary--but just as spectacular--views of the Mediterranean Sea or the Taurus Mountains.
The Marmara Antalya features a private beach reached via a dramatic 230-ft. stalactite-lined tunnel; a near-Olympic size outdoor pool; The Marmara Spa with traditional Turkish hammam; a fitness center; and a 975-ft. man-made river with adjustable wave height and flow strength for waterpsorts.
A variety of beautiful dining settings are available throughout the resort including the signature Marmara "Tuti" experience which provides a refreshing alternative to the traditionally hushed and reserved atmosphere of public areas in luxury hotels. In a soaring loft-style space that incorporates dining, relaxation and fun, guests find a restaurant, a library, art gallery, a living room, a lounge area and a billiards room, all in an inviting and interactive public area.

The focal points of the room are eight columns, each dedicated to a specific pursuit. There is an a rock-climbing column, art column, a library column, a "swinging chair" column, a web-surfing column, a culinary column called "Sakiz Ana," a spice rack column, and even a graffiti column, for guests to leave their comments.
Inside and out, The Marmara Antalya offers an incomparable guest experience and the ideal Mediterranean getaway.
Rates for guest rooms at The Marmara Antalya start at euro 221 for the revolving loft and 161 euro for the main building, based on double occupancy, and includes breakfast. Rates are subject to taxes.
