The Inn on the Alameda invites its guests to experience the blend of Santa Fe's unique cultural heritage and its sparkling culinary scene with its Tasting the City Different package. This walking tour, led by a knowledgeable chef/guide from the Santa Fe School of Cooking, begins at the school's state-of-the-art facility and works its way through the city, stopping off at four uniquely Santa Fe dining destinations. Along the way, guests have a chance to taste the menus, meet the chefs and owners, and gain a better understanding of the eclectic mix of old and new, traditional and contemporary, that influence this exciting regional cuisine. The demonstration cooking class at the Santa Fe School of Cooking allows guests to incorporate this southwestern flair into their own kitchens.

Rates for the Tasting the City Different package range from $675 to $1302 for two and include:

Three nights accommodations at Inn on the Alameda in a variety of cozy guestrooms

A three-hour afternoon Cuisine and Culture walking tour for two

A two and a half-hour Demonstration Cooking Class for two at the Santa Fe School of Cooking with lunch following
